ITINERARY SUMMARY

Sai Baba of Shirdi (in the Ahmednagar district) or Shirdi Sai Baba (28 September 1838 – 15 October 1918; his real name is Shree Chand Khan (as per what I’ve read a couple of times). He is decorated with jewels just like Hindu Vedic deities, which is in direct contrast to his teachings of a simple life. Sai devotees revere him as the creator and sustainer of this universe, which also doesn’t have a sound basis in his life and preachings.
